As you probably know, way too many women in our society are going the wrong way when it comes to attracting good men. They find bad ones easily, but never a good man. This may have happened to you too. And unless you see something really special in your shy guy so that you feel he's like a diamond in the rough, it's not entirely recommended you pursue him.
A shy guy can really be a good guy in disguise, or is social shyness could be a sign of more issues hidden in the dark, and that's bad and you don't want that.
